Abstract

Nouveau composé chimique, le méta-isocyanatobenzylisocyanate (MIBI), et son procédé de préparation. On fait réagir une m-aminobenzylamine avec du phosgène; on obtient un polyuréthanne qui est le produit de la réaction du méta-isocyanatobenzylisocyanate avec un alcool polyfonctionnel ayant un poids moléculaire d'au moins 92. Application notamment dans la fabrication de matériaux à base de polyuréthannes, notamment de mousses ayant des propriétés améliorées, et de matériaux d'enduisage (peinture, vernis) à base de polyuréthanne.
