Abstract

Procédé de fabrication de pièces en céramique biphasée alumineuse, silico-alumineuse ou magnésienne à partir d'un agrégat. On prépare un gel d'alumine-silice en proportion en matières sèches de 50 à 75 % d'alumine pour 50 à 25 % de silice, et on mélange l'agrégat à une quantité de gel correspondant, en matières sèches, à 2 à 10 % en poids de l'agrégat. Après déshydratation partielle du mélange et désagrégation mécanique, on forme une pâte par adjonction d'eau et d'un liant temporaire. Après mise en forme les pièces sont déshydratées par étuvage et cuites à une température supérieure à 1 400 degrés C. L'invention s'applique à la fabrication de pièces pour des machines recevant de l'aluminium liquide.
