Abstract
Electrical energy taken from a network is recorded and consumption above a limit value carries a premium charge. The energy is measured using number of detectors providing pulses for an integration proces. A number of users (2, 3, 4) equipped with current (2a, 3a, 4a) and voltage (2b, 3b, 4b) transformers extract energy from distribution network (1). Detectors (12, 13, 14) produce dc output proportional to power used. These outputs are summed (31) and applied via comparators (35) to a single short monostable (37) with a clock (40) input. A constant current source (32) provides input to summing amplifier via gate (33) with input from monostable. A counter (41) records excess energy.
