Abstract

Dispositif de mesure des dimensions d'un objet parallélépipédique, comprenant un convoyeur 10 qui déplace l'objet dans une direction f et un capteur 16 des déplacements du convoyeur. Le trajet optique d'un détecteur 18 est perpendiculaire à la direction f de façon à être occulté pendant un temps proportionnel à la longueur de l'objet. Un second détecteur 27 a un trajet optique 45 degrés du précédent et parallèle à une autre dimension. Une électronique fournit le déplacement pendant la durée d'occultationn de 18 et la différence entre les déplacements correspondant à l'occultation des détecteurs 27 et 18. Application aux installations de tri postal automatique.
