Gomme à mâcher perfectionnée, à gout sucré persistant. Cette gomme à mâcher comprend une phase soluble dans l'eau constituée d'un agent ramollissant aqueux, d'un premier agent édulcorant en particules et, le cas échéant, d'hydrolysat d'amidon hydrogéné et une phase relativement insoluble constituée de masses de gomme de base, de particules d'un second agent édulcorant et, facultativement, d'hydrolysat d'amidon hydrogéné, enveloppées dans la gomme de base et renfermées dans cette gomme. La phase hydrosoluble apporte le goût sucré immédiat, cependant que la gomme de base libère progressivement le second agent édulcorant qui apporte la persistance du goût sucré à la mastication.Advanced chewing gum with a lingering sweet taste. This chewing gum comprises a water-soluble phase consisting of an aqueous softening agent, a first particulate sweetening agent and, where appropriate, hydrogenated starch hydrolyzate and a relatively insoluble phase consisting of masses of gum base, particles of a second sweetening agent and, optionally, hydrogenated starch hydrolyzate, enveloped in and enclosed in the gum base. The water-soluble phase provides the immediate sweet taste, while the gum base gradually releases the second sweetening agent which brings the persistence of the sweet taste to chewing.
