Abstract
The equipment has at least two vertical plates (10) (11). These are parallel and one behind the other in liq. (12). Floating parts (13) push the plates vertically upwards. In the plates are pump units (15) and wave movement in the liq. causes horizontal movement of the plates, actuating the pumps. The plates are spaced apart half a wave length. There can be three plates, two rear ones fixed relative to each other at a half wavelength apart and a mobile front plate a quarter of a wavelength away. Other variations are covered.
