Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de récupérer une nappe de produits polluants tel que du mazout à la surface de l'eau. Il comporte un châssis 1 portant à chaque extrémité montés sur des arbres 2 et 3 des tambours 4 et 5 sur lesquels est tendu un tapis roulant 6 en boucle feutrée réalisé au moyen d'une matière spongieuse ou mousse absorbante résistant à l'action des hydrocarbures, huiles, oxydants ou alcalis et ayant un pouvoir absorbant de l'eau pratiquement nuL Cette matière peut être collée ou moulée sur une âme en tissu ou en grillage à larges mailles. Un tambour essoreur associé au tambour moteur 5 comprime le tapis provoquant la récupération du produit dans un bac 10. Le châssis peut être monté sur un navire de faible tirant d'eau ou sur un véhicule amphibie L'invention s'applique à tous les cas où il doit être procédé à l'élimination de produits polluants répandus sur l'eau.
