Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé pour la récupération des substances alumineuses d'un minerai de silicate d'aluminium du type argile ou schiste en traitant le minerai avec une liqueur à l'acide sulfurique concentré contenant de 200 à 1 000 grammes d'acide sulfurique litre par litre. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que cette liqueur contient de 1 à 50 grammes par litre de fluorure dissous et que le traitement est effectué à une température comprise entre 60 degrés C et le point d'ébullition de la liqueur à l'acide sulfurique Application à la production d'alumine.
