Abstract

Meal in different parts of the silo is submitted to differential vibratory displacement. The meal is contacted by at least one vibratory element. The assembly of vibratory elements is disposed across the whole mass of meal to impart differential displacements to different portions of the meal. A metallic element, disposed within the silo, has surface contact with the meal throughout the volume occupied by the meal. It is suspended so as to be clear of the walls of the silo and readily transmits vibrations throughout its mass.
