Abstract

Procédé pour déterminer soit la porosité relative à l'eau soit la conductivité de l'eau dans des formations entourant un sondage, consistant à dériver une première quantité représentative de l'atténuation d'une énergie électromagnétique hyperfréquence se propageant entre des emplacements espacés dans le sondage, et à deriver une seconde quantité représentative du déphasage relatif à l'énergie électromagnétique hyperfréquence se propageant entre lesdits emplacements. Il consiste en outre à dériver une troisième quantité représentative soit de la conductivité de l'eau soit de la porosité relative à l'eau des formations et à former une quatrième quantité à la fois proportionnelle au produit des première et seconde quantités et inversement proportionnelle à la troisième quantité, ladite quatrième quantité représentant la valeur cherchée. Application à l'industrie pétrolière.
