Abstract

The device allows the upper part of a preparation mould for socks, stockings or tights to be articulated when the article is engaged on the mould during manufacture. The mould is in two parts (A, B) which are joined by two stainless steel plates (C, D). The plates are riveted together (1) at their lower part and have two curved holes (4, 5) and the space between is always the same. The upper part (A) has two studs (6, 7) which slide in the holes and allow the mould to be bent when the article is being engaged and then straightened.
