Abstract

L'invention concerne le théophylline-7-acétate de 2-(p-chlorophénoxy)-2 méthylpropyle et son procédé de préparation. On prépare le compose de l'invention par réaction du chlorure de théophylline-7-acétyle avec le 2-(p-chlorophénoxy)-2 méthylpropanol en présence d'une base organique comme accepteur d'acide. Applications : comme agent hypolipémiant et, en particulier, comme hypocholestérolémiant et hypotriglycéridémiant, on peut l'administrer en comprimés, dragées, capsules de gélatine, emulsions ou sirops à une dose journalière de 20 à 30 mg/kg, en une ou plusieurs prises.
