Abstract

Dispositif permettant de positionner à l'endroit convenable, en haut d'une lingotière, la poudre de couverte destiné à recouvrir l'acier en fusion pour éviter la retassure. Un support plat 1 ou en cuvette 4 est maintenu en haut de la lingotière par les coins 2 des masselottes ou par des tenons 3 d'appui sur les bords de la lingotière. La partie centrale est rendue plus inflammable ou perforée 5 pour faciliter la destruction du sac éventuel de couverte au moment de son contact avec l'acier. Des évents 6 ou des intervalles permettent le passage des flammes résultant de la coulée. L'invention peut être utilisée pour la coulée de l'acier << en source >> en lingotière.
