Abstract

Dispositif appelé << joint de lingotière >> permettant d'assurer efficacement l'étanchéité à l'acier en fusion entre la lingotière elle-même et sa plaque de base. Il est constitué par une feuille de carton découpée avec une grande précision permettant de combiner l'emploi d'un joint avec celui d'un support de coussin de poudre de couverture, d'une couronne de tournure de fonte, d'un amortisseur et d'un joint incombustible. Le dispositif peut être exactement centré sur la plaque de base. L'invention peut être utilisée pour la coulée de l'acier soit en chute soit en source
