Abstract

Dispositif protecteur pour tubes de forage, notamment pétroliers. Le manchon métallique 3 recouvrant le filetage d'extrémité conique 2 d'un tube de forage 1 est coiffé d'un embout protecteur 4, d'une seule pièce, constitué par une cuvette encastrée 5 et une jupe extérieure 9. Celle-ci coopère avec un anneau 13 assurant l'assise de l'embout et l'étanchéité à la base du manchon. Cet anneau peut aussi faire office d'écarteur à l'empilage. L'embout est réalisé en matière plastique par moulage. Applications : protection des tubes de forages.
