Abstract

The liquefied-gas fuelled cigarette lighter has an expander evaporator incorporating an elastic body pressed against a grooved surface. The width of the groove is at the most equal to its depth, and its straight portion can have one or more interruptions, typically a break in its shape. The section of the straight portion of the groove can incorporate one or more angles, or it can be rectangular. The design avoids the elastic body shutting off the flow of the gas through the groove completely.
