Abstract

A modulas assembly of cages (1) for rabbits includes a central cage (2) which houses a male rabbit. Three cages (7) are arranged on either side of the central cage and cages (5, 6) are provided at the ends of the central cage. The central cage extends to give access to the end cages (7). Trap doors (10 to 17) provide access between the central cage and the cages (5, 6, 7) containing female rabbits. The cages (7) have nesting boxes (8). Feed is supplied through a chute (9') to hoppers (9) and water is also supplied to each cage. The cages (5, 6) may be used for replacement does or for weaning of young rabbits.
