Abstract

Procédé de fabrication de lentilles cornéennes, comportant la mesure, dans au moins un plan méridien de l'oeil du patient, du rayon de courbure central de la cornée et la mesure de la profondeur de la chambre antérieure de l'oeil suivant l'axe visuel, caractérisé par la détermination d'une courbe définie par un sommet et une droite appelée directrice et par la condition qu'en chaque point de cette courbe le produit du rayon de courbure par la distance à la directrice est constant, le rayon de courbure au sommet étant pris égal audit rayon de courbure central mesuré et la distance du sommet à la directrice étant prise égale à ladite profondeur de la chambre antérieure mesurée ; la détermination d'une seconde courbe parallèle déduite de la première en ajoutant une valeur constante tenant compte de l'épaisseur du film lacrymal, en pratique, voisine de 0,1 mm, au rayon de courbure en chaque point de la première courbe; et la réalisation d'une lentille ayant une surface interne dont la section par ledit plan méridien soit identique à cette deuxième courbe, et une surface externe déterminée en fonction de la correction optique recherchée.
