Abstract

the dustbin, pref. of the wheeled and rectangular type, comprises a body with a hinged lid, the hinge comprising a tubular hollow body acting as handle and a hinge bolt working in it and secured by a flange. The bolt has a shank extending through the hollow body, its free end being secured to the body sidewall or to the flange to prevent it being pulled out. It can have a head engaging behind the wall of flange, or its free end can be split, or it can have a nut or sleeve fitting over it. It can also be secured to the sidewall so that it cannot rotate.
