Abstract

The pallet has an upper face (3) with identical integral feet (4) below at the corners. Additional feet (4', 5) are on the sides intermediate the corner feet, and also a foot (6) at the centre. The feet are hollow. Certain feet (4, 4') have one longitudinal and two transverse partitions whilst other feet (5, 6) each have one longitudinal and one transverse partition. Strengthening ribs (14, 15) depend from the upper face distributed most densely between the feet. A base for the pallet is of similar construction but the feet are very short. The base and upper part are of moulded plastics and are joined by welding.
