Abstract

The dividing head for a draughting machine is made in two parts. The first upper part consists of a cylinder with screwed on scale holder and carrying the grip handle. The second part has the ring with the degree scale division and a detention plate with external teeth. The individual parts (1, 3) of each, are in addition to being connected by pins and screws (5, 6) also fixed in their relative positions by preset holes made after adjustment with projections (8) made to fit into them. The projections fit into slots based on the holes.
