Abstract

The maize harvester has a separator (4) comprising a number of drums arranged above a sieve and oriented obliquely upwardly. Fragments of maize fall through the sieve to a screw conveyor (18) for removal and supply to redn. appts. (14). Husks are discharged to the ground via a passage (7) which extends across the width of the machine. A drive motor 6) is at the rear of the machine.
