Abstract

The assembly comprises a modular suction unit which takes in the impure air and drives it into a casing (which is also of modular construction) to which is fixed a bag to collect the dust and filter sleeves. These sleeves are attached to a shaking mechanism. The apparatus is modular so that the unit containing the fan can be joined to one or several of the filtration modules which are placed side by side and tightly joined together. The modular arrangement permits considerable flexibility in construction, use and adaption.
