Abstract
The connector, for the ends, of two aluminium conductors placed side-by-side, comprises an external sleeve (1) enclosing the conductor ends (5, 6) and an internal wedge element (2) filling the free space between the latter and the sleeve (1). The configuration of the internal wedge element (2) conforms to the profile of the conductor ends (5, 6). Pref. the connector is permanently fitted in position by exerting a radial force on the external sleeve (1) exceeding the elastic limits of the different connector components. Pref. the sleeve (1) and the wedge element (2) are also both made of aluminium.
