Abstract

A framework fitted with levers and welding bars is used to convert successive portions of a roll of tubular thermoplastic film into bags which may be supported open mouthed at e.g. the base of a domestic rubbish chute. Further manipulation of the levers/welding tools can then heat seal bags to secure their contents before removal of filled bags e.g. for loading into rubbish carts, etc.
