Abstract

The tiered seating structure for sporting events etc. has foldable seats mounted on nestable frames. Each frame includes support rollers at the bottom, the frame being reinforced by tubular bracing rails. Each of the extendable frames includes grooved guide rollers which run along the tubular rails. Each tubular rail may have an inverted T-shaped cross section, the guide rollers engaging the stem of the T. Sliding alignment rods may be received in central channels formed by partitions in the cross bar of each T-shaped tubular rail.
