Abstract

An electrical switch (1) is intended esp. for operating accessories such as rear window demisters, hazard lights etc. in road vehicles. The switch has two stable positions, each of the two positions closing a single switch whose electrodes are brought out as spade terminals in two or three lines at right angles to the switch pivot axis. The rocking surface has a central finger extending over the pivot point bearing on a sprung leaf providing the two stable positions. Each side of the rocking surface has two inward pointing extrusions which bear down onto the individual operating rods of sprung switches.
