Abstract
The mechanism consists of a pan (1) resisting on a stem (2) upon a bridge (3). Upper and lower arms (4, 5) form a deformable parallelogram articulated at four points (A, B, C, D). The assembly is maintained in equilibrium by means of four springs (6) fixed to a support (7) and to the bridge (3) by a tie-rod (8). The upper arm (4) is fixed at each end by a screw (13) and an elastic lamina (12). The lower arm (5) consists of a rigid bar (5a) connected by elastic lanimas to a support (14) and bridge (3). The bridge is connected via a cross-piece (9) to transmit the displacements of the assembly to an electronic measurement system 10) for display on an indicator board (11). The elastic lamina is made of steel and is thinner in the middle, and has oblong holes through which the screws fix precisely the lamina at each end. The parallelogram can be adjusted by the micrometric screw (14).
