Abstract

The thermostat valve is esp. for a domestic radiator. The detachable part of the valve with the thermostat is fitted on the valve housing top. The detachable upper part can be fitted in different positions to accommodate relative positions of a wall or window sill. The valve has a curved or elbow adapter (6) with a transmission lever (15) for thermostat movements. This lever bridges the thermostat and the actuating spindle (2) of the valve. The thermostat output plunger and the actuating spindle centre lines are at right angles to each other. The coupling clamping rings (7, 11) for connecting the elbow between valve and thermostat unit are identical.
