Abstract
Latex à base de polymères en suspension, utilisables pour la formation de revêtements, d'adhésifs, de liants. On prépare, par des polymérisations en suspension successives en au moins deux stades, des suspensions aqueuses ou latex contenant des particules dont la portion centrale est en polymère hydrophile et relativement mou tandis que la portion externe est en polymère hydrophobe et relativement dur, les deux types de polymère s'interpénétrant à un degré suffisant pour qu'il en résulte une plastification interne des particules du latex. Utilisation des latex en question pour préparer des compositions du type encaustique permettant de former, sur des sols ou parquets, des revêtements durs, brillants, et d'une très grande résistance chimique et mécanique.Latex based on polymers in suspension, usable for the formation of coatings, adhesives, binders.
