Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation d'acide vinyllactique et de ses esters, caractérisé par le fait que l'on oxyde de l'aldéhyde vinyllactique avec un oxydant, en présence d'oxyde de cuivre et d'oxyde d'argent, à une température comprise entre 25 degrés et 70 degrés C, à un pH compris entre 8 et 10, et sous une pression de 1 à 26 atm. et l'on estérifie de façon habituelle, le cas échéant, l'acide vinyllactique ainsi obtenu.
