Abstract

Elément rapporté d'une seule pièce pour le roulement à plat des pneumatiques gonflables. L élément a la forme d'un anneau fendu ayant une flexibilité suffisante. En régime normal, l'élément tourne avec la jante, mais en régime de roulement à plat il glisse sur la jante, supporte la charge et se déforme ainsi pour maintenir les talons en position. Le dispositif peut être facilement mis en place dans une chaîne de montage automatique. Cet élément permet à des véhicules automobiles de rouler à plat à la suite d'une crevaison accidentelle ou de crevaisons provoquées, par exemple, par des armes à feu.
