Abstract

Procédé et dispositif d'affichage de données graphiques sous forme de biréfringence localisée dans une céramique ferro-électrique. Le procédé se caractérise en ce qu'on inscrit les données graphiques en appliquant une différence de potentiel continu DELTA V entre les deux électrodes et en insolant simultanément une partie de la surface de la couche photoconductrice à travers ladite seconde électrode, les données graphiques étant inscrites par biréfringence localisée, ladite biréfringence étant induite par exploitation de composantes transversales du champ électrique créées par la conjonction de l'insolation optique locale et de l'application de la différence de potentiel DELTA V et en ce qu'on interrompt après l'insolation l'alimentation en tension des deux électrodes. Application industrielle à l'affichage de données.
