Abstract

The equipment allows movement without the aid of tools, spanners or screwdrivers of a ski stirrup anchoring system. Male and female serrations are locked together by a slide, which can be in one piece, forming the manual control, elastic component, and locking and unlocking device. The part opposite the serrations of a tongue attaching the slide with the stirrup anchorage can be locked in the direction at right angles to the plane of the ski, but so as to allow some play in use. It is secured between the slide and the plate fixed to the ski by two lugs wider than the serrated slot in the plate, and in the lengthwise direction by a bore in the tongue (7) accommodating a cylindrical pin underneath and attached to the slide. Thus the tongue is merely sandwiched between plate and slide without riveting welding or the need for additional components.
