Abstract

The locking of the tine rotor is for a hag-making machine w.r.t. the machine frame and prevents rotation after switching off the drive. The lock unit is in the form of an overload safety device. By means of this, the tine rotor (2) is released on exceeding a given limit torque. A claw (9) is arranged above the tine rotor (2) on the machine frame (1). With a U-shaped cutout (10), this claw (9) grips a tine support arm of the tine rotor (2) from above. The claw (9) is arranged at the outer edge of a safety frame (6) which covers the tine rotor. The safety frame is connected with the machine frame (1).
