Abstract

Mechanism for feeding articles of any shape to a printing machine has a rotating hopper from which the articles are picked up one after the other by a conveyor on which the article is positioned in a preferred orientation by an air pressure system. A further conveyor deposits the article on a roller conveyor (50). The article is picked up from latter conveyor by a suction cup provided at the end of a pivotal arm. The arm is moved through about 180 deg. from the pick-up position and releases the article on to a slide which passes it on to the printing machine.
