Abstract

Générateur électrochimique à électrode positive comportant un chaloegénure. Il comprend une électrode positive, un électrolyte, une électrode négative, caractérisé par le fait que ladite électrode positive comporte au moins un chalcogénure du type (MYk Xz ), M étant un elément choisi parmi les éléments des colonnes IIa, IIb, IVb, Vb, VIIb de la classification périodique des éléments ainsi que parmi le fer, le cobalt, le nickel, l'étain, le plomb, Y étant un élément choisi parmi les éléments de la colonne Va de ladite classification périodique, X étant un élément choisi parmi le soufre, le sélénium, le tellure, k pouvant être égal à 0 ou 1, z étant au moins égal à 3. L'invention est mise en oeuvre dans les générateurs électrochimiques secondaires.
