Abstract

The system is designed to regulate non atmospheric pressures which are created or maintained by at least a motor (7) driven pump (3). The system has a device for controlling the pumps motor, and a circuit which automatically measures the load (absorbed power) of the pump motor during its operation. The load measurement is used for indirect measurement of the instantaneous pressure state in a pressure container (1). The system has a valve which is designed to limit the pressure difference from atmospheric. This valve is actuated by the load measuring circuit. A further circuit is used to stop the pump by mechanical or electrical decoupling of the motor from the pump.
