Abstract

The temporary cover is used for swimming pools and other open areas requiring coverage which can be erected or removed easily. It comprises a number of interconnected elements (5), held on a self-supporting frame (3) and which can be folded back onto each other and stored in a pit (6) along one side of the area. The self-supporting frame is semi-circular and can be permanently fixed in position or comprise telescopic sections also stored in a pit at the side, the area underneath being left clear of obstructions. The interconnecting elements slide up and over the frame to provide this cover.
