Abstract

Procédé de réalisation d'un revêtement vitreux biologiquement actif sur une céramique à base d'Al2 O3 . Le procédé consiste à utiliser un verre dont le coefficient de dilation thermique est différent de celui de la céramique. On dépose un premier revêtement vitreux 2 sur la céramique 1 et on le chauffe pour assurer un soudage du revêtement sur la céramique par diffusion d'ions. On refroidît l'ensemble pour créer dans la couche de revêtement vitreux des micro-fissures 3 en raison des contraintes thermo-mécaniques qui y sont engendrées. On recouvre ce premier revêtement par au moins une couche supplémentaire 5 de verre biologiquement actif qui est soudée sur la première couche. Application à la réalisation de prothèses internes aptes à remplacer un os et ne nécessitant pas de ciment.
