Abstract

The package is for a doll, flowers, foodstuffs etc., made from a flat sheet of metal (2) which is rolled over at the edges. When the sheet is rolled into a cylinder the open edges are hooked together to close the cylinder. The package is fitted with a base which is flanged and fits inside the cylinder. The lid of the packing fits over the top of the cylinder. An alternative cubic packing may be formed similarly with the tubular joint along one of the angles of the cube.
