Abstract
The heating system operates by evaporation of a heat carrier and returns the condensate by a longitudinal-channel capillary structure. It is used with an evacuated hollow body (17) which has different geometrical dimensions relative to the heat conveying system. The hollow body is lined with a capillary structure (18, 18') e.g. wire mesh, sintered coating, metal fleece, etc. which covers its inner surface at every point and which is connected to the longitudinal-channel capillary structure (10) of the heat conveying system. Between the hollow body and the heat-conveying pipe may be inserted a connecting section (21) with a capillary structure (31) which corresponds to that of the hollow body and which continues into the longitudinal channels of the heat-conveying pipe.
