Abstract

En raison de la réputation d'incompatibilité, admise par les spécialistes, entre les elastomères << non polaires >> usuels avec le chlorure de polyvinyle, c'est dans cette situation tendant à rendre illusoire et presque paradoxal d'envisager, une telle << hybridation >> de compromis, que l'expérimentation pratique ayant mis en évidence, qu'en fait elle est néanmoins possible, que l'invention vise d'abord et essentiellement, le nouveau produit industriel ainsi obtenu et donc constitué, par un profil alors dit << bimatière >>, c'est-à-dire co-extrudé, comportant d'une part une armature métallique en forme de pince, avec un enrobage en << compound >> selon l'invention, caractérisé par le fait qu'il combine : un élastomère non polaire usuel, avec une matière dite plastique comme le PVC et d'autre part, un profilé tubulaire cellulaire d'étanchéité compatible en élastomère usuel, extrudé simultanément et à la même vitesse que le premier, grâce à une boudineuse dite à double extrusion.
