Abstract
The circuit arrangement transmits the measured-value signals from a measured-value signal transmitter (1, 2, 3) over a two-wire line (A, B) to a receiver (8, 9). The energy required for operation of the measured-value signal transmitter (1, 2, 3) is likewise supplied to the measured-value signal transmitter (1, 2, 3) via the two-wire line from a voltage source (7). The measured-value signals are current pulses which are superimposed on a direct current flowing on the two-wire line (A, B). Shunt-connected with respect to the measured-value signal transmitter (1, 2, 3), a controllable resistance branch (11, 12, 13) is connected to the two-wire line (A, B) and is controlled by the pulses generated by the measured-value signal transmitter (1, 2, 3). The direct current for feeding the measured-value signal transmitter (1, 2, 3) flows uninterruptably via the two-wire line (A, B), irrespective of whether measured-value signals are additionally transmitted or not. The current pulses forming the measured-value signals are added to the direct current in the two-wire line (A, B), but do not reach the feed current input (5, 6) of the measured-value signal transmitter (1, 2, 3), since they flow via the shunt-connected resistance branch (11, 12, 13).
