Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour la mesure de standards de longueur. Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on forme préalablement un hologramme d'un étalon de longueur, on éclaire cet hologramme par un faisceau laser direct et par un faisceau laser réfléchi par une face frontale du standard de longueur à mesurer en appui, par son autre face frontale, sur une butée de référence, et, à partir de franges d'interférence obtenues au moyen du front d'onde réfléchi par le standard de longueur, éclairé par le faisceau laser, on détermine la différence de longueur entre l'étalon et le standard.
