Abstract

The machine for driving in staples has a pneumatic cylinder with pistons activated both sides, coupled to a plunger acting singly on staples led from a magazine, in a lengthways displaceable fitting head. The detachable coupling point is provided between the plunger led in the fitting head and the piston, at the end of a piston rod. The rod's length is such that the coupling point is still outside the driving cylinder when the machine is at rest, and is accessible for replacement of the plunger. The plunger may be semi-cardanically linked to the piston rod. Structure is compact, and worn components can be easily replaced.
