Abstract

Les boues biologiques qui s'accumulent sur les surfaces de transfert de chaleur des équipements de refroidissement industriels peuvent être dispersées, et leur formation empêchée, en traitant l'eau utilisée dans ces systèmes par quelques ppm de certains polymères oxyde de propylène-oxyde d'éthylène. Ces polymères peuvent être utilisés avec des biocides bien connus comme le chlore. La figure montre le facteur de nettoyage des condenseurs d'une tour de refroidissement d'une centrale atomique.
