Abstract

The surgical frame is for handling leg joints, where positioning is required in an examination apparatus. An arch shaped end plate (1) has a central arched support plate (3) and a rotary plate (5) at the other end, across which respective spokes (2, 4, 6) extend. Between the lower ends of these plates are externally threaded adjusting rods (7, 8) and further similar rods (18, 19) secured by locking nuts (21) and a hinged joint (20) between the upper rods. The lower rods include an eccentric joint (12) for aligning the leg joint with the frame joint. The joint housing includes upper and lower slides (10) for sliding the rotating bolts forming part of the aligning system.
