Abstract

Dans un système de mémoire à parois à traverses, une bande de pellicule magnétique isotropique définissant une piste de données utilise l'anisotropie induite par sa forme, c'est-à-dire par le contour de ses bords, plutôt que l'anisotropie induite par les champs magnétiques de son axe facile, pour maintenir la paroi de traverses les limites du contour planar de la bande de pellicule. L'utilisation de l'anisotropie induite par la forme d'une bande isotropique de pellicule magnétique permet l'emploi de pistes de données courbes. Deux pistes de données d'entrée et une piste de données de sortie sont formées en porte logique ET/OU pour permettre au système de remplir à la fois des fonctions de memoire et des fonctions logiques
