Abstract

The linear electrical motor winding has a number of coils made up of flat conductor pieces (13). The flat conductor pieces (13) which make up the coils have a central rectilinear part (10) and two terminal parts (11, 12) bent to form elbows. The flat conductor pieces (13) are assembled together in a stratified arrangement and are grouped in two shifted groups. The arrangement ensures that an end of the first winding group is under an end of the second. The other end of the second winding group is above an end of a third, the other end of which is under an end of a fourth winding group and so on. The winding pieces are connected in series at their ends (14). The flat conductor may be of Cu or Al.
